NEMA Lighting Standard Recommended in DOE Report

speakers-Rob-NachtriebThe Department of Energy recently revised its October 2013 report titled, Dimming LEDs with Phase-Cut Dimmers: The Specifier’s Process for Maximizing Success, to include a recommendation of a NEMA lighting standard, SSL 7A-2013 Phase Cut Dimming for Solid State Lighting: Basic Compatibility. This is big news for the lighting industry, and here to provide more details is Lutron’s Rob Nachtrieb. He is chair of the NEMA Lighting Controls Section and former chair of the committee that created SSL 7A.
